Acting Governor Sennar inaugurates third batch of Saudi aid to state

In a move that strengthens the path of humanitarian recovery, the Acting Governor of Sinnar State, Secretary General to the Government, Mr. Magdi Brir, today inaugurated in the city of Sinja the third batch of humanitarian assistance provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, in cooperation with the national partner, Human Development Organization Sixteen.
The Acting Governor expressed great appreciation for this support, praising the role of the Humanitarian Aid Commission and the close coordination with the State Commission and organizations, emphasizing that Sennar has entered the recovery phase after liberation. He sent a strong message to address any potential violations in aid distribution, calling on citizens to immediately report any violations to security authorities or the government secretariat.
For his part, the Human Resources Director of Organization Sixteen and responsible for distribution in Sinnar, Mr. Sharaf al-Din Ali Ibrahim, explained that this batch is part of the food security project and includes 110 tons of food, distributed in 3,000 baskets containing flour, sugar, lentils, pasta, oil and salt, indicating that the distribution will cover four localities in the state according to the Commission’s plans.
The representative of the Executive Director of Sinja locality, Mr. Kamal Abdel Qader, confirmed that the aid will reach the citizens of the neighborhoods and villages through the distribution representatives, to ensure that it reaches those who deserve it, welcoming the continuous efforts of the Seize organization to support food security.
In this context, Chairman of the Sennar State Popular Resistance and Mobilization Committee, Major General (M) Al-Nur Abdul Rahman Saeed, expressed his thanks to the leaders and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for supporting Sudan in its ordeal, emphasizing the importance of commitment to justice and transparency in the distribution of aid, especially in fragile areas, under the supervision of the Executive Directors and the monitoring of the Commission.
