Khartoum Health Ministry calls on private treatment facilities to obtain their 2026 licenses by January 31

In an important regulatory alert, the Department of Private Treatment Facilities of the Khartoum State Ministry of Health has called on all private treatment facilities to expedite the completion of licensing requirements for the year 2026 and set January 31, 2026 as the deadline to complete the procedures.

The invitation included all treatment establishments, including hospitals, private laboratories, health centers, clinics, dental clinics, optometry and physiotherapy centers, beauty centers, in addition to medical complexes.

Director of the Department of Private Treatment Facilities at the Khartoum State Ministry of Health, Dr. Muhammad Al-Sheikh, confirmed in a press release that compliance with licensing procedures is a fundamental condition to ensure the quality of health services provided to citizens, emphasizing the ministry’s keenness to regulate the work of private health facilities in accordance with applicable regulations and laws.

He explained that the administration is working to facilitate authorization procedures, calling on all institutions to respect the specified deadlines in order to avoid any violation of the law that could result from failure to comply with authorization requirements on time.

He stressed the need for representatives of private treatment facilities to visit the headquarters of the Directorate of Private Treatment Facilities at their new location in the Martyrs Zone, east of Asia Hospital, to receive and complete the procedures and licensing requirements during the announced period.

Concluding the statement, the administration of private treatment facilities congratulated the health facilities on the glorious Independence Day, hoping that God will bring them back to the nation with more progress and stability.
