Al-Jikaika Hospital creates qualitative change in neurosurgery in Nile State

In a medical achievement that reflects the development of specialized health services, Al-Jikaika Hospital announced the achievement of a qualitative leap in the field of neurosurgery in Nile State, providing precise and advanced operations that helped alleviate the suffering of patients and localize this vital specialty within the state.

The Medical Director of Al-Jekika Hospital, Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Mohamed, confirmed in press statements that the hospital continues to provide precise specialized services, while seeking to locate them in the Al-Jekika region and Nile State, noting that the services remained accessible to civilians and military personnel even during the war period.

The medical team of Al-Jikaika Emergency and Trauma Hospital, led by consultant Ahmed Zidan and neurosurgery specialist Muhammad Al-Mustafa, as well as Dr. Wael Muhammad Al-Mahdi and Dr. Abu Bakr Ahmed, and with the support of operational medical staff, explained their success in carrying out delicate surgical operations, including the removal of brain cancer tumors, drainage of brain hemorrhages and installation of valves to treat hydrocephalus, in addition to repairing birth defects in newborns.

He highlighted that these achievements contributed to a qualitative change in the level of specialized services provided and consolidated the position of Al-Jekika Hospital as an effective center of neurosurgery within Nile State, opening new horizons for the development of advanced therapeutic services in the region.
