The Humanitarian Aid Commission distributes 10,000 bags of corn to all levels of society – Zool Net

As part of a measure to strengthen food security and target the most needy segments, the Sennar State Humanitarian Aid Commission today launched the distribution of 10,000 bags of corn from the strategic stock, with the support of Sennar State Governor, Major General (M) Al-Zubair Hassan Al-Sayyid, in an initiative that is the first of its kind in the state and includes all segments of the society.
During the inauguration, Governor Sennar praised the continued support provided by the Federal Ministry of Finance, the Sovereignty Council and the Council of Ministers, appreciating the efforts of the Humanitarian Aid Commission in coordinating humanitarian work and monitoring state actions, and emphasizing the need to distribute aid equitably to all targeted segments.
For his part, the Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid in Sennar State, Muhammad Abdel Fattah Badi, confirmed that these quantities of strategic stocks will be distributed in seven localities and will include the cells of the Holy Quran, the disabled, the blind, families of martyrs and vulnerable segments of various government institutions and sectors.
The Commissioner appreciated the support of the Sinnar State Government and the State Security Committee for the programs of the Commission, stressing that this measure helps to ease the burden of life and enhance the stability of the community during the current phase.
