Today, the Khartoum State Ministry of Health, through the General Administration of Training and Research, launched the final exams for students of the sixth class of the Professional Diploma Program in Critical Care and Intensive Care Nursing, under the auspices of Director General and Minister-designate, Dr. Fath al-Rahman Muhammad al-Amin.

This measure is part of the academic and compensatory treatment of exams which were forcibly suspended due to war conditions, the ministry having named this batch the “Distinguished Lot” in recognition of the firmness and determination of students to continue their university career despite the security challenges and exceptional circumstances that the country is going through.

Director of the General Administration of Training and Research, Dr. Ahmed Awad Al-Karim, confirmed that the launch of the exams under the auspices of the ministry’s leadership reflects its interest in the development and qualification of the human cadre, as well as its keenness to continue training and build capacity even in the most difficult circumstances, considering this as a victory for the will of the health sector in Khartoum State.

He explained that continuing education and qualification represent the basic basis for ensuring the continuity of health services and supporting hospitals with specialized personnel, especially in a specific and vital specialty such as intensive care and intensive care nursing.

He stressed that the students, with their determination and patience, embodied the spirit of insistence on construction and development, stressing that the process of health rehabilitation in the state continues and will not stop, and wishing them good luck and success in their future careers.

The program aims to equip the health system with quality cadres qualified to handle complex medical cases, in light of the growing need for this specialty to support hospitals and specialized centers in Khartoum State, while praising the great efforts made by professors, supervisors and students until reaching this final stage.
