Blue Nile Region Health Insurance discusses 2025 performance report and achieves 84% ​​of plan implementation

The National Health Insurance Fund, Blue Nile Region Branch, discussed the performance report for the year 2025, in the presence of the branch director and directors of various departments and units, as part of reviewing the achievement and evaluating the level of implementation of the annual plan.

Director of the Department of Planning, Research and Information, Dr. Awatif Muhammad Al-Nour, presented the performance report, explaining that the implementation rate of the plan reached 84%, with 933 activities implemented out of a total of 1,114 planned activities, noting the variation in implementation rates between departments and units, which ranged between 97% and 79%.

She explained that the 2025 plan represents the effective launch of the 2025-2028 strategic plan, which includes 6 strategic objectives and 12 general objectives, in addition to 48 interventions or projects and 1,114 sub-activities distributed between different lines of work.

For his part, Director of the Health Insurance Branch of the Blue Nile Region, Dr. Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Awad, confirmed that the year 2025 was marked by continuous and intensive work on the part of all departments and units, in addition to the outlets providing services in all governorates of the region, appreciating the efforts of urban and rural workers despite the great challenges they face in providing health services.

He highlighted the continuation of efforts to increase the population and service coverage rate, and to restore services in points of sale interrupted during the last period, particularly in the governorates of Kurmuk and Tadamon, so as to contribute to improving citizens’ access to basic health services.
