After a visit to South Sudan – Kabashi, member of the Sovereignty Council, returns to the country

Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Shams al-Din Kabashi, returned home this afternoon after an official visit to the State of South Sudan which lasted four days, during which he held talks with South Sudan state officials and met with the leader of the SPLM-North Sector.

Upon his arrival at Port Sudan airport, he was received by a member of the Sovereignty Council, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Yasser Al-Atta, and the Secretary General of the Sovereignty Council of transition, Lieutenant General Muhammad Al-Ghali.

And Mr. Muhammad Al-Amin Turk, General Superintendent of Hadandawa and Chairman of the Supreme Council of Independent Councils of Beja and Amoudiyya.

The Sovereignty Council Member and Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces' discussions with officials, South Sudan State President Lt. Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit and his Deputy Dr. Riek Machar focused on bilateral relations. between the two countries, the establishment of peace and stability in Sudan, the provision of humanitarian assistance and the implementation of the revitalized peace agreement in South Sudan.

During the visit, the member of the Sovereignty Council and Deputy Commander-in-Chief also met with the head of the Northern Sector of the SPLM, Lieutenant General Abdul Aziz Al-Hilu, and they agreed to immediately deliver humanitarian aid in areas controlled by the SPLM. the government and areas controlled by the movement.

They also agreed to sign a document detailing how to deliver aid to those in need within a week of the meeting.

The delegation of a member of the Sovereignty Council, Deputy Commander-in-Chief, which visited Juba, includes the Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Yassin Ibrahim, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Hussein Al -Amin Al-Fadil, and the head of the Peace Commission, Professor Suleiman Al-Dabilo.
