Jeddah – floor and ceiling!! ✍️Bakri Al Madani
The favorable reception of the government (Minister of Foreign Affairs) of the resumption of the Jeddah negotiations is a statement which is consistent with the strategic position aimed at ending the rebellion through military decision or negotiation*
* Militarily, the army is fighting, and to negotiate, a delegation from it went to Jeddah, and most of its headquarters are in the hands of the militia, and even its leaders are under siege, but it does not did not negotiate the evacuation of its headquarters, nor the lifting of the siege of its leaders, but rather stipulated the evacuation of homes and civilian property, therefore it was a declaration of the Jeddah Principles*!!
*The question is, with the First Army going to Jeddah unconditionally and its return being conditional on the implementation of the Jeddah Declaration – the question is essentially one of negotiations, why?!*
*Negotiations, more than ending the rebellion, mean returning to the starting point, namely security arrangements that dismantle rapid support and in exchange build a single army for Sudan, based on the existing army with those who comply with its regulations and controls. to be part of it, and to remedy any imbalance in the existing military institution*
*Security arrangements and the dismantling of Rapid Support in exchange for building a single army for the country require will, responsibility and objectivity on the part of the remaining Rapid Support leaders, because peace cannot be obtained in the presence of an army parallel to the existing army*
* Will, responsibility and objectivity are also necessary to understand that violations committed by rapid support personnel against civilians are criminal crimes that are not ruled out by any agreement or political regulation, because private rights belong to the private .
*The Jeddah floor by declaring the principles of withdrawal of homes and civilian property, the Jeddah ceiling by dismantling rapid support, and between the floor and the ceiling there is a big distance for negotiation*!!
