In this context, the Egyptian Ambassador to Sudan, Ambassador Hani Salah, confirmed that the Arab Republic of Egypt is one of the few countries that still grants visas to Sudanese due to war conditions.
He said during his speech at the dinner he organized in honor of the presence of a Sudanese media delegation from Cairo to participate in the media challenges workshop tomorrow in Port Sudan. He said Egyptian efforts towards the Sudanese people will not stop. and that they will continue despite many challenges, emphasizing that Egyptian Airlines is the only international airline still active in Sudan.
He stressed that Egypt was working at all levels for peace and stability in Sudan, stressing that the war had complex regional and international dimensions.
He said Egypt was making great efforts to accommodate the desires of Sudanese people who wish to visit Egypt and grant them visas.
He reiterated his assertion that the Egyptian humanitarian bridge to Sudan will not stop and will continue, emphasizing that he does not call it aid or airlift, but rather Egypt's duty to the Sudanese people.
He said the roles Egypt plays in various positions and locations will be announced in due course.
Ambassador Hani Salah said that the Sudanese neighboring countries mechanism is the only initiative that calls for preserving the sovereignty and unity of Sudanese lands and preserving the institutions of the Sudanese state.
