Nile State Minister of Culture, Information and Communications receives a delegation of media professionals and journalists and visits the wounded from the Battle of Karama at the Atbara Police Hospital.
Today, Mr. Mustafa Mohamed Othman Al-Sharif, Minister of Culture, Information and Communications of Nile State, received a delegation of media personalities and journalists led by Mr. Gamal Ankara. The delegation included a number of high-level journalists and correspondents from Nile State. various visual, audio and written media.
The minister and the accompanying delegation visited the wounded of the Karama battle at the Atbara Police Hospital, checked their health conditions and provided them with moral support.
During the visit, the minister appreciated the sacrifices of those injured during the Battle of Karama operations, noting that the Sudanese Armed Forces have, throughout its history, provided columns of martyrs to defend the dignity of the nation Sudanese.
The minister also praised the role of media professionals and journalists in raising awareness and educating citizens and strengthening their spirit of patriotism, stressing the importance of the role of the media in supporting the Sudanese Armed Forces in their fight against rebel militias.
The minister praised the efforts of the Ankara Press Service Center to unify the voice of the media and present a strong media message that unifies the media discourse of all journalists and media professionals in Sudan, in order to resolve the battle of dignity.
It may be noted that the visit of the media delegation to the state is aimed at highlighting the role of the media in supporting the armed forces and shedding light on the moves of the state government in various fields.
