Opening of the water and environmental sanitation meeting room with the support of the Sahara Organization within the General Administration of Environmental Health

The Director General of the Red Sea State Health Sector, Dr. Ahlam Abdel Rasoul, expressed appreciation for the great role of the Sahara Development Organization in supporting the health sector and its interventions health in the State with partners from international and national humanitarian organizations. This happened during the opening of the water and sanitation meeting room at the General Administration of Environmental Health and Food Control in Port Sudan, which was implemented with the support of the Sahara Development Organization.

She praised the efforts of the General Administration of Environmental Health, particularly in the current situation the country is going through, which requires concerted efforts.

The Director of the General Department of Environmental Health, Najla Maqit, expressed her thanks and appreciation to the Sahara Organization for the construction of the room and stressed that the opening of the room would contribute to more quality work.

The director of the Sahara Organization, Mohamed Nour El-Din, confirmed the continuation of the partnership with the Ministry of Health, announcing that interventions will continue in support of the health sector.

The room was also the scene of the water and sanitation meeting nĀ° (59) with partners working in the sector, under the honor of the general director of the health sector, Dr Ahlam Abdel Rasoula, and chaired by Najla Naqit, in the presence of organizations. and government agencies, where the current situation was reviewed and the meeting discussed many topics related to sanitation and water, and listened to reports from partners and various departments.
