Vice-president of the Sovereignty Council visits Eritrea

The Vice Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Commander Malik Agar Air, today traveled to Asmara, the Eritrean capital, on a multi-day official visit to participate in the celebration of the National Day of Eritrea. He is accompanied during the visit by Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Hussein Al-Amin Al-Fadil.
He was accompanied to the Port Sudan International Airport by a number of ministers and state officials.
During the visit, His Excellency will meet with Eritrean President Isaias Afwerki, focusing on the evolution of bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen them, as well as the evolution of the current war and its impact on the regional and international environment.
