The Criminal Control and Immigration Department of the General Administration of Passport and Immigration was able to arrest the accused (AAM), who was cooperating with the Rapid Support Forces, at the Port Sudan International Airport for the purpose of traveling outside the country.
It should be noted that the above-mentioned person arrived at the airport with the aim of traveling outside the country and after being turned away from the passport counter because his name matched the prohibited list, and before leaving the airport, she was arrested and investigated.
During the investigation, it emerged that the said individual had cooperated with Rapid Support through the commander of the Hilla Koko region, where the said person plays the role of mediator in the release of prisoners held by Rapid Support in exchange of sums of money. which are handed over to the commander.
During the search of the above-mentioned person, he found in his possession a sum of (5,150) US dollars, which he admitted to having received from a person working for a company in Port Sudan. The aforementioned person attempted to give the amount to the investigator as a thank you. a bribe to release him, with the promise of increasing the amount in exchange for his release.
The necessary legal measures were taken against him.
