Launch of community survey training
It started this morning at the training center of the Red Sea State Ministry of Health.
The training course in community investigation in the localities of Port Sudan and Suakin, organized by the international organization CONCERN in cooperation with the health sector of the Red Sea, as part of the response project to the epidemic of cholera, funded by the Sudan Development Fund, which lasts for four days and targets community leaders in Suakin and Port Sudan as well as health personnel working on the investigation.
The opening of the session was graced by the Director of the General Department of Emergency and Epidemic Control, Mr. Hisham Othman, the Project Director of Concern, Mr. Abu Talib Al-Hadi, and the coordinator of the organization in the locality of Port Sudan, Dr. Ibrahim Muhammad Ahmed, and the presence of a number of health, epidemic control, emergency and response services.
The opening program included a number of speeches referencing the importance of the investigation, the role of community leaders and the importance of the session.
