Ministry of Production and Economic Resources in Sennar: discusses the technical committee report on the Tuzi seed production project

The committee responsible for supervising the signing of Tuzi Farm contracts for seed production and localization held its first meeting at the headquarters of the Ministry of Production in Sinja, chaired by the Director General of the Ministry of Production and Economic Resources , the Minister in charge of Sennar province, Mr. farmer Al-Hadi Al-Sadiq Ali, chairman of the committee, responsible for supervising the signing of contracts with seed producers, farmers and partners. The meeting reviewed the report of the responsible technical committee. with receipt of the site and completion of registration and contracting procedures, in the presence of the Director General of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning, the Alternate President, Dr. Mahjoub Ahmed Mohamed, the representative of the State Police , from the general information representative. Service, the representative of military intelligence, the legal adviser of the Ministry of Production and the executive director of the governor's office, said that the farm's goal is to produce seeds for the 2024-2025 season. take advantage of available capacities, mechanisms and seeds and apply modern technologies to produce improved seeds for Sennar State in particular and Sudan in general.

Al-Hadi pointed out that the meeting discussed the necessary procedures to implement the program and start early to implement the activities at the farm level, taking into account some of the previous technical aspects. He added that the committee strives to resolve all issues through the required procedures, with a view to providing the opportunity for producers and partners in the agricultural process to submit applications. Al-Hadi said the committee will achieve results in the coming days, indicating the resumption of work by signing contracts through the advisory and technical bodies.

It should be noted that the Tuzi Project was established for the purpose of agricultural research and seed production over an estimated area of ​​10,000,000 acres in the Wadal Nil region of Abu Hajar locality.
