Commission for International Affairs Against Rapid Support Rebel Forces Holds First Meeting
Today, the Committee charged with initiating international prosecutions against the Rapid Support Rebel Forces, their leaders and the countries supporting them held its first meeting in Port Sudan, led by the Minister of Justice and Chairman of the Committee , Maulana Dr. Muawiya Othman Muhammad Khair, in the presence of all its members
The meeting discussed numerous guidelines and axes related to the training and skills of the committee, in accordance with what was indicated in the decision of the President of the Sovereignty Council 82/2024.
The meeting also discussed the working methodology of the committee and the distribution of tasks and powers among all members.
The meeting ended with the formation of technical committees related to procedural legal aspects and taking into account the experiences of countries in this area.
The committee also communicated with a large number of experts from individuals and entities inside and outside Sudan, Sudanese legal experts and others who expressed their full willingness to contribute and assist in the implementation of the committee's work.
