Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Shams al-Din Kabashi, landed in Nile State, carrying strong messages highlighting the unity of Sudan and the determination of the armed forces in the battle for dignity against rapid support militias.
Kabbashi thanked the government and Nile State for their efforts to enhance security and stability, commending the joint cooperation and coordination between the executive and security agencies. He also praised the heroic role of the artillery in the Battle of Karama, highlighting its combat skills and professionalism.
Kabashi issued strong messages addressing both internally and externally. In an important message, he stressed that the armed forces do not only fight rapid support militias, but defend the homeland against “countries that covet its resources and seek to change its identity.” He stressed that Sudan is exposed to “foreign invasion” with the participation of internal and external countries and agents.
Kabashi described the current battle as “a battle for survival and the homeland.” He praised the role of the Sudanese people in supporting the armed forces and engaging in popular resistance, stressing that this cohesion constitutes “a national picture that has amazed the world”.
Kabashi did not forget the wounded who sacrificed themselves for the sake of the homeland, which is why he visited the wounded at the military hospital to see their condition and express his thanks and appreciation. He also visited the new military hospital in Atbara to see the progress of the work.
During his visit, Kabbashi held a meeting with the leadership of the artillery corps, during which he expressed his pride and admiration for their distinguished performance throughout history, especially during the battle of Karama. He stressed that the artillery was capable of fighting the battle with great professionalism, emphasizing that “the war is an artillery war.”
Kabashi stressed that the armed forces continue their mission of protection and defense of the homeland against any aggression, stressing that a decisive victory is near. He also urged citizens to continue supporting the armed forces and participating in popular resistance.
