Peace, no revenge ✍️Taha Haroun Hamed

In our time, we live in the shadow of a massive collapse of the structure of society and the physical structure of individuals, many of whom suffer from marginalization, contempt and extreme poverty. It seems that revenge goes beyond its natural limits in our contemporary societies and is transformed into a phenomenon that constitutes a real threat to social peace and its destruction, indifference and the exaggeration of immorality, political independence, rivalry and hidden hatred between different societal forces.

Deteriorating conditions, other natural and environmental conditions, and widespread corruption are causing immense frustration and anger among the population, and some see revenge as the only option to express their discontent and confront the injustice they face. But is revenge the best solution?

The answer, of course, lies in peace and in building societies based on justice, equality, the rule of law, accountability and good governance. The use of revenge increases the cycle of violence and generates injustices and conflicts that complicate the situation and complicate social problems instead of solving them. We must all strive to contain anger and direct it towards positive solutions and build a society based on justice, mutual respect and tolerance, build trust among the population and bring back the Sudanese people to a normal life.

So what can we do? We must work to raise awareness and contribute to change through dialogue and civic engagement. We must work together to fight corruption and build effective and transparent institutions. We must also strive to improve the conditions of the poor and marginalized, and guarantee human rights for all, regardless of gender, race, religion or region.

Moving from revenge to common action for the common good is the only way to build a better future for all. Hunger, hunger-related diseases and tyranny are not fixed laws that we must accept, but rather problems that we can solve and change if we work together seriously, sincerely and with dedication.

So let's join forces and build more humane and just societies, where there is no room for revenge but rather for peaceful opportunities, progress and cooperation.
