Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed arrives in Port Sudan on an official visit

Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed arrived at Port Sudan airport today for an official visit that will last several days. He is expected to meet with the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces.
He was received at the airport by the President of the Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, and several senior state officials.
Abiy Ahmed's visit to Sudan is the first by an Ethiopian president since the start of the war.
