Joint talks between Sudan and Ethiopia begin

The joint talks session between Sudan and Ethiopia began today at the Hospitality Palace in Port Sudan, where the Sudanese side was chaired by the Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General #Abdel Fattah_Burhan. While the Ethiopian side was led by Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed.

The President of the Sovereignty Council welcomed the visit of the Ethiopian Prime Minister and his accompanying delegation, stressing the depth of bilateral relations between Khartoum and Addis Ababa.

Highlighting the historical and cultural ties between the two brotherly peoples.

For his part, the Ethiopian Prime Minister expressed his joy at visiting Sudan, indicating that his country takes into consideration its relations with Sudan, noting the cooperative relations between the two countries in various fields.

The discussions between the two sides focused on the need to promote and develop joint cooperation and strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
