President of the Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces congratulates the new British Prime Minister

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, sent a congratulatory cable to Mr. Keir Starmer, on the occasion of his accession to the office of Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland, wishing him success and development and growth of relations between the two countries.
Al-Burhan said in his cable: “On the occasion of your gaining the trust of your people by electing you as the Prime Minister of your country, I extend my sincere congratulations and blessings to you, wishing you success in your new duties and continuing to work towards further development and growth for your friendly people.
Al-Burhan renewed his firm determination to strengthen the historical friendship between the two countries and advance it for the benefit of the two friendly peoples.
