Shendi: Rainfall in various parts of the locality
Shindi witnessed scattered rains in a number of areas of the locality, which is the first rain in the region, marking the beginning of the autumn season.
Shendi locality has established a fall emergency room that meets weekly to determine final preparations for the fall season by cleaning drains and making embankments for low-lying areas of markets, water pool sites and both sides of main and secondary roads.
These rains witnessed by Shendi are considered the first test of the work done by the autumn emergency services and may have revealed some shortcomings that may need urgent attention.
The Executive Director of Shindi Locality, Khaled Abdul Ghaffar Al-Sheikh, inspected the storm drains of the city and the southern and northern areas of the locality and ordered the relevant authorities to respond to the observations revealed by the visit.
