The General Coordinator of the Darfur Regional Government meets with civil administrations and symbols and notables of Darfur
The General Coordinator of the Darfur Regional Government in River Nile State, Mr. Mutasim Youssef Mustafa, met with the civil administrations, symbols and notables of Darfur in River Nile State, in the presence of General Ali Mukhtar and Mr. Abdel Baqi Hamid, Director General of Social Welfare of the Darfur Regional Government, accompanied by Mr. Ayoub Muhammad.
His Excellency said after the end of the session that the meeting was thoughtful and friendly, and its results were fruitful, as the meeting discussed how to unite the people of Darfur under one roof, the process of repairing the social fabric, supporting peaceful coexistence between communities in the Nile, and good preparation for signing a charter of peaceful coexistence between groups of communities in the state, which will be done in the presence and honor of the Governor of the Darfur region/Minni Arko Minawi.
In addition to discussing the Popular Mobilization Operation to support and assist the People's Armed Forces and the Joint Forces.
For his part, Mr. Abdel-Baqi Hamed, Director General of Social Protection of the Darfur Regional Government, shed light on the roles played by the regional government and its continued work in these complex circumstances and its continued efforts to provide humanitarian relief. He pledged that the government would work to remove obstacles and ensure that humanitarian aid is delivered and distributed equitably among the states of the Darfur region in the shortest period of time.
