Shendi: Regular Forces Retirees Participate in Insurance Operations, Defense and Front Lines
A large number of retirees from the regular forces, including officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers, organized into military formations for the defense of the homeland
The Military Service Pensions Executive Committee, which includes officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers of the regular forces, said it has developed an integrated program for its work in training and armament, working in defenses, bases and forward positions, securing the region and combating foreign presence, sleeper cells and negative phenomena.
In its meeting with the Shendi locality security committee, the Executive Committee confirmed its great confidence in those currently leading the battle and that the armed forces will be victorious, God willing, in this battle.
The Executive Committee stated that the call to the homeland and mobilization launched by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, refers first and foremost to this large number of retirees from the regular forces, if they are in the armed forces, the police, the security services and the general intelligence, and that their support and expertise are an obligation.
The commission highlighted the major role played by this force as a reserve force to support the armed forces on sites, whether in defences, fronts or internal security.
The local security committee praised the considerable efforts made by retired officers, non-commissioned officers and soldiers to support the armed forces.
The Security Committee briefed these leaders on the excellent work it is doing to secure, protect and combat sleeper cells, negative phenomena and unregulated foreign presence.
