Northern Governor Launches E-Learning Project
Northern State Governor Mr. Abdeen Awadallah inaugurated the e-learning project at Dongola Outstanding Girls School in the presence of the Director General of the Ministry of Education, Minister-designate Mr. Saif Al-Din Muhammad Awadallah and the Ministry’s Secondary Schools Administration.
The Governor praised the experience of the exceptional girls' school as it welcomed a number of exceptional students coming under war conditions.
He said the online learning experience will help increase the academic success rate and improve performance in the state as the state has become a destination for a number of different Sudanese universities.
Stressing the willingness of his government to pay special attention to education and to overcome all obstacles that hinder the educational process in the state.
For his part, the Director General of the Ministry explained the importance of e-learning,
We appreciate the role of school administration in providing working tools to each teacher in order to keep pace with developments in education and provide efforts and information to students.
He called for the experiment to be rolled out to all schools in the state.
In the same context, the school's principal, Ms. Randa Al-Sheikh, spoke about the contribution of online learning in increasing the awareness and understanding rate of female students and keeping pace with developments in providing information to the recipient with ease and ease.
She stressed that every effort will be made to make the school a model for all schools in the state.
