Learning and education are among the foundations on which human life is based. All divine laws have emphasized the importance of education and encouraged it, as mentioned in the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet. International institutions, United Nations organizations and international laws and protocols have taken an interest in it and have developed many theories and strategies according to different circumstances, among which are strategies,
The emergency education strategy aims to provide education in humanitarian emergencies, including wars, conflicts and natural disasters, and also aims to create appropriate educational opportunities for all ages in crisis situations.
The main objective of the emergency education strategy is to preserve inherent human rights, as stipulated in the Human Rights Act: “A person does not lose his or her rights because of the occurrence of war, conflict, famine or natural disaster.”
Another important objective of this strategy is to reintegrate students affected by war into society, as education allows for a normalization of life and a return to familiar routines, provides hope for the future and mitigates the psychosocial damage of violence and displacement. plays an important role in promoting a culture of peace, citizenship and human values.
Urban warfare is a new and painful experience that Sudanese society has never experienced before, so it faces many challenges in dealing with its effects and how to deal with them.
The experience of opening schools in North Kordofan State in accordance with the emergency education strategy is a practical application that we are witnessing for the first time in North Kordofan State, and it is a courageous and bold step that deserves support and assistance.
We will continue, God willing.
