Shindi: Director of Youth and Sports, the Sudanese people have experienced the psychological and social effects of the war

Director of Shindi General Administration of Youth and Sports Muzammil Sayed Ahmed Abdel Rahman said that the nature of the Sudanese people expressed to the arrivals the psychological and social effects of the war.

When he inaugurated the third psychological and social support program in the reception centers of Sumaya Bint Al-Khayyat School, Block 15, organized by the Department of Youth and Sports in cooperation with the Mohafijoun Initiative, he added that the nature of the Sudanese people has avoided many of the negative effects of wars that occur in many countries of the world in circumstances such as Sudan is going through.

He stressed that the scenes with which the Sudanese people welcomed their brothers fleeing the war astonished the world and that the strongest message of the Sudanese people reflected images of compassion, solidarity, support and solidarity in a scene that is only repeated in Sudan.

He stated that the psychological and social support programs implemented by the General Administration of Youth and Sports in Shendi locality, under the supervision and care of the Executive Director of Shendi locality, Khaled Abdel Ghaffar Al-Sheikh, and the follow-up of the Minister of Youth and Sports in the Nile State, Louay Mustafa, said that this program came to support and renew the spirit of hope and moral motivation, and that it contains educational and entertaining doses for a number of age groups, especially children and the elderly.

Many expats present at the accommodation centers expressed their joy at this program, during which many lectures were presented, such as cultivating hope, filling the void and getting rid of trauma, in addition to the fun and cultural segments that took over. expats get out of the cycle of boredom and monotony.

The Department of Youth and Sports has implemented a number of psychological and social support programmes in several accommodation centres in blocks (20), (21) and (15), and the programme is continuing in several other centres.
