Northern Governor Launches Distribution of Humanitarian Aid in Several Localities
The acting Governor of the Northern State, Mr. Abdeen Awadallah, inaugurated the distribution of nine thousand four hundred food baskets, in the localities of Dongola, Al-Gold, Al-Barqiq and Halfa, provided by the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center as part of the second phase of the project aimed at supporting food security in Sudan.
The northern governor praised the contributions of the King Salman Center, a major supporter of the state since the start of the war.
He stressed the need to monitor and follow up until this aid reaches the targeted people, stressing that it will be distributed through the Humanitarian Aid Commission, the General Secretariat of Social Affairs and local executive directors.
*For his part, the Executive Director of Dongola Locality, Dr. Makkawi Al-Khair, praised the humanitarian work provided by the King Salman Center for the affected people.
He praised the efforts of the Addah Organization in distributing humanitarian aid.
Focus on distributing food baskets to people in need through the management committees of administrative units.
