The White Nile provides fifteen thousand gallons of gasoline for agriculture in the localities of Rabak and Al-Jabalin
Professor Omar Al-Khalifa Abdullah, Governor of White Nile State, has affirmed his government's interest in meeting the needs of the summer agricultural season and removing all obstacles that hinder the agricultural process in the state.
This came during his meeting this afternoon at the Ministry of Production and Economic Resources in Kosti with a delegation of representatives of farmers from the locality of Rabak and Al-Jabalin, in the presence of Engineer Yasser Mukhtar, representative of the Minister of Production and Economic Resources, Mr. Hussein Muhammad Al-Rajil, Executive Director of the locality of Al-Jabalin, and the Supreme Committee for the success of the agricultural season in the state.
The meeting discussed the modalities of delivering agricultural gasoline to the localities. During the meeting, the governor confirmed the provision of fifteen gallons of gasoline to the locality of Rabak and Al-Jabalin. He said that the state was at the beginning of the season. provided more than one million six hundred thousand gallons of gasoline, indicating that the current crisis is a result of the closure of the road with the state of Sennar, stressing that his government, at this immediate stage, has ordered that all the gasoline available in the state be allocated to agriculture, and efforts are underway to fill the gap in gasoline for the success of the agricultural season, in accordance with the regulations and controls of the Ministry of Production, explained the governor, who attributed the obstacles that farmers in the state face in receiving the money. allocated a share to agriculture for the lack of funding for the agricultural season, and the White Nile Governor reassured citizens and farmers that the agricultural season in White Nile State is promising and the state is witnessing the good and blessings of rain. The success of the agricultural season depends on meeting the needs of the agricultural season and the organized distribution of quantities of agricultural gasoline to all localities.
The representative of the Minister of Production and Economic Resources, Engineer Yasser Mukhtar, said that the White Nile provided all agricultural inputs in terms of fuel and seeds very early, indicating that the state has so far been able to cultivate one million three hundred thousand acres. out of the total targeted area in the state of three million three hundred and forty-one thousand acres, and he was considered a representative. The Minister of Production said that this estimated area was achieved thanks to the efforts of the state in providing agricultural gasoline and. He stressed that this season is honorable and its good news is manifested in the continuity of rainfall and its good distribution in agricultural areas. He said that the meeting with farmers from the two mountains made it possible to obtain agricultural fuel, which represents. a qualitative addition to the increase in cultivated areas this season in the state.
In addition, Mr. Abdel Baset Jaafar, Director of the State Department of Public Transport and Oil, indicated that the meeting with Al-Jabalin farmers focused on providing gasoline for the agricultural season. He said that his administration is working to cover all localities with agricultural gasoline according to what is available in the proportions specified by the Ministry of Production for the first stage of the preparation process. For the agricultural season, he explained that the state is making continuous efforts to provide gasoline and its delivery to the localities. , according to the directives of the Supreme Committee for the Agricultural Season, in coordination with the localities.
For his part, Mr. Musa Fadlallah, the representative of farmers in the locality of Al-Jabalin, said
They discussed with the governor and the Supreme Committee for the success of the agricultural season the needs of the agricultural region, especially agricultural fuel, and during the meeting they approved the number of fifteen thousand gallons of gasoline for agriculture, ten thousand gallons of gasoline for the locality of Al-Jabalin and five thousand gallons of gasoline for the locality of Rabak, which will be received today at the gas stations to be delivered to farmers in the interior. In the coming hours, the representative of the farmers of Al-Jabalin praised the efforts of the state government and said that this locality has large agricultural areas, which requires more fuel to cover the targeted area in the region in light of the conditions that the country is going through due to the war conditions, and the state is counted on the verge of providing food to all states.
