A distinguished partnership between the police and the Nile police
The joint mechanism between the Sudanese Standards and Metrology Authority and the Nile State Police Department has ensured an executive work matrix aimed at providing technical services easily and conveniently in a manner that meets the interests of consumers. Dr. Ahmed Sayed Ahmed Omar, Director of the Standards Sector in Nile State, stressed the importance of partnerships in achieving the goals, indicating that the work matrix includes supporting and coordinating vehicle calibration, inspecting tire shops, coordinating and cooperating in the field of laboratories, in addition to supporting the efforts of the Consumer Affairs Commission, spreading the culture of standardization, and organizing scientific workshops and training courses for police personnel in the field of specifications, standards and consumer protection.
Sayed Ahmed expressed his appreciation for the understanding, support and attention of Major General Salman Muhammad Al-Tayeb, Director General of the State Police, for the joint work and integration of service roles between the police and the specifications, noting that the coordination mechanism includes the director of the criminal department, the directors of the local police, the director of the traffic department, the director of the executive office of the presidency of the State Police, the director of the department of investigation and criminal investigation.
The mechanism also includes, from the Sudanese Authority for Standards and Metrology, Eng. Amani Al-Muzamil, Director of the Laboratories Department, Dr. Muhammad Baloul, Director of the Sector Control Department, and the directors of the offices of Al-Ubaidiya, Shendi and Abu Hamad.
