After his visit to Rwanda and Angola, the President of the Sovereignty Council returns to the country

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, returned home this evening after a two-day official visit to Rwanda and Angola.

During which he had fruitful discussions with the presidents of the two countries on the evolution of Sudan's relations with Kigali and Luanda.

He was received at Port Sudan airport by Interior Minister General Maash Khalil Pasha Sarin and several ministers.

During this visit, the President of the Transitional Sovereignty Council held talks with Rwandan President Paul Kagame and Angolan President João Lourenço, which focused on Sudan's relations with the two countries and mechanisms to strengthen joint cooperation between Sudan, Rwanda and Angola.

During the visit, the President of the Sovereignty Council was accompanied by the Director of the General Intelligence Service, Lieutenant-General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal.
