Sudan People's Resistance Chairman Visits Shendi City to Strengthen Preparations to Meet Challenges
🔹In a move that reflects the commitment of the Popular Resistance to its national duty, Major General Bashir Makki Al-Bahi, leader of the Popular Resistance in Sudan, paid a field visit to the First Dignity Brigade and the Mustafarin Brigade in the locality of Shendi. A number of military and local leaders were accompanied on this visit, which underlines the importance of unity and cooperation in facing the challenges facing the country. This visit comes at a critical time as threats and risks emanating from rebel groups are increasing. The aim of the visit was to assess the combat readiness of the Popular Resistance Forces and strengthen coordination between the various military and civilian agencies.
🔹The visit was attended by the Executive Director of Shendi Locality, Mr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar Al-Sheikh, and the heads of the military teams, which reflects the dimensions of the partnership between the army and the local community.
🔹Major General Hamdan Abdul Qader Daoud, commander of the 3rd Infantry Division, welcomed the influx of youth to the training camps, which confirms the community's interaction with the resistance efforts.
🔹He explained that there is strong coordination between the resistance units and the various regular agencies, which reflects the strength of military and civilian integration in the face of the rebellion.
🔹During the visit, the leader of the Popular Resistance confirmed that the Forces of First Dignity and the Mustafarin forces are fully prepared to confront the rebel threats. Where he stressed that the popular resistance is a national duty aimed at protecting the country and restoring rights. He stressed that the challenges presented require concerted efforts from all segments of society to ensure the stability and security of Sudan. The readiness of the First Mustafarin Brigade was also confirmed and all stakeholders focused on supporting the efforts and continuing the preparation of the soldiers and Mustafarin to support the battle of Karama and developing strategic plans to confront the enemies, which has strengthened the morale of the fighters and volunteers.
🔹Major General Bashir Makki expressed his appreciation for the vital role played by the Nile State Government in supporting the popular efforts. He also stressed that the state was one of the first states to establish a popular resistance, which shows the awareness and responsibility of its people. He thanked all the supporting and donor agencies, especially the popular resisters who contributed to the training and arming camps being complete. He stressed that these efforts reflect the community’s involvement in preserving the homeland and freeing the country from the specter of rebellion.
🔹Mr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar Al-Sheikh, Executive Director of Shendi locality, confirmed that his locality includes more than 90 training camps for men and 40 camps for women.
He stressed the importance of supporting the local community and that the battle is being fought by the resistance to confront the rebellion and not to assume its responsibilities towards the armed forces.
🔹The need to achieve solidarity and cooperation among different groups to ensure the achievement of national goals was discussed.
Major General Hamdan Abdul Qader Ali stressed the keenness to support the training camps while preparing and qualifying individuals to enter the battle armed with knowledge and combat capabilities.
🔹The significance of the intervention highlighted the importance of quality weaponry for soldiers and volunteers.
The speakers also considered that the individuals mobilized were considered a popular army that reflects a commitment to the defense of the homeland.
🔹The commander of the First Dignity Brigade confirmed that it is capable of fighting on the front line alongside the armed forces.
