President of Transitional Sovereignty Council meets delegation of academics and preachers
The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, met today with a delegation of academics and preachers. The meeting discussed the general situation in the country.
Dr. Taha Abdeen, a member of the delegation, said in a press statement that the delegation of academics conveyed to the President of the Sovereignty Council the thanks and appreciation of the Sudanese people for their sovereignty and strong and firm stance towards the people's problems, and for their wise leadership of the Popular Armed Forces and the forces supporting them among the mobilizers and the popular resistance.
Welcoming the victories of the armed forces in different battlefields, stressing that imams, preachers and scholars stand alongside the army in the battle of dignity, indicating that the delegation presented during the meeting a vision to contribute to solving some political, economic and security issues within the framework of the post-war reform process.
