Ambassador Salah Al-Kandu: A notable increase in Omani demand for Sudanese products
Sudanese Ambassador to the Sultanate of Oman, Ambassador Salah Al-Hajj Al-Kindo, confirmed that Sudanese-Omani relations are at their highest level in all aspects, especially economically.
Ambassador Al-Kandu said this when he received in his office at the embassy headquarters in the Omani capital, Muscat, the acting Director General of the Sudanese Free Zones and Free Shops Company, Abdul Aziz Abu Bakr, and the Executive Director of the Arab Exporters and Free Shops Company and Suppliers Syndicate, Dr. Muhammad Abdul Rahim.
The ambassador said that economic relations between the two countries are in a state of continuous development and the high exchange rate between the two countries is a testament to this progress in the economic field.
Ambassador Salah Al-Kandu revealed that there was a notable increase in Omani demand for some Sudanese products, such as sesame, meat and fodder.
Ambassador Salah Al-Kandu gave the delegation a detailed explanation of the Sudanese-Omani relations in their economic aspect, especially regarding the movement of exports and imports between the two countries.
Ambassador Salah Al-Kandu expressed hope that all visits by Sudanese officials in all fields, especially economic ones, would be successful and push Sudanese-Omani cooperation to broader horizons.
In addition, Acting Director General of the Sudanese Free Zones and Free Markets Corporation, Abdulaziz Abu Bakr, said that their visit aims to establish economic companies between the two countries, facilitate trade and investment exchanges and activate free zones.
Acting Director General of the Sudanese Free Zones and Free Shops Company, Abdulaziz Abu Bakr, said that there are Omani products that are popular in Sudanese markets due to their high quality, which paves the way for many Omani products to reach Sudanese and African markets.
