Minister of Endowments returns home after attending international conference in Cairo
Federal Minister of Religious Affairs and Endowments, Dr. Osama Muhammad Ahmed Al-Bathani, returned home from the Arab Republic of Egypt, following his participation in the 35th International Conference for Women and the First International Conference for Women Preachers, which was held in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, with the participation of a number of Arab and Islamic countries under the slogan (The Role of Women in Raising Awareness).
The Minister of Religious Affairs confirmed in statements to the press that the participation of the ministry in the conference is part of its interest in participating in such international forums and putting an end to the crimes and violations committed by the rapid support militia in the arena, as well as to overthrow The cohesion of the internal front to repel the aggression of this rebellious and criminal militia, he said, aims to emphasize that the conscious woman is capable of formulating distinctive personalities through her understanding of her religion and the reality of her society. and that the conscious woman is an important addition to society and paints a vivid picture of reality through the societal role she plays. In addition, the educated and cultured woman is well aware of the nature of the role she must play. What are the expected results if this role is marginalized, in addition to emphasizing the role of women in the revival of society through their ability to bring about positive changes and their active presence in various aspects of life? Al-Bathani stressed that the conference highlighted the Egyptian experience and what it has done in empowering women as a pioneering experience to build on in the field of human rights. The minister explained that the conference witnessed the presentation of a large number of working papers, most of which spoke about the role of women in building religious and cultural awareness, in community service and in raising children.
