I am very careful not to write in this space anything that criticizes colleagues or belittles any of them, no matter how serious, because the word that comes out cannot be erased and is frozen in time, and because the workspace is one, I believed that advice and guidance were the most effective way to solve the problems we face as media professionals and journalists, some of whom have been forced by circumstances to isolate themselves and abandon the profession at a time when they are absent from the reality of our society in crisis…
Which prompted me to write letters to some of my colleagues who were suffering from displacement and whose sufferings of war and the abandonment of their homes did not relieve them from being surrounded by strangers while they were in their country summoned by misfortunes, torrents and floods that destroyed their homes and displaced their children and families until they lost hope…
Colleagues and media icons have been separated by paths and have not found grace and luck, neither with the International Federation of Journalists, which has made known its missing help since the beginning of the disorientation, nor with our journalistic leaders, who have made not feel their duty, speak on their behalf or accompany them, even spiritually, in their meetings with government representatives…
Journalists (those who hold a grudge against them) have not yet benefited from the entities and associations they formed to help themselves and from the help of state governments, as they face the difficulties of staying on a thread of hope far from the movements and tours. leaders of the Sudanese Press Union, exhausted by the begging, but it is in vain as long as its members complain about the cruelty of nature in Seoul. Their tears covered me and their bodies were exhausted, and even their voices. and the pens were exhausted. Will the leaders of our union read what we write after we failed to reach them for the sake of their colleagues, or will we resume the search (Shaleel) for the solution in the valley of misfortune and sorrow before the expected time? (Mahdi) of journalism appears… and our message to the government, our union and society, save the press of the country by helping the affected colleagues before they wake up from this shock (of isolation) and find their conscience drowned in chaos. solution of the crisis and its characteristics different from those that were in the eyes of society, governments and the country that was stripped because of the war.
