Emergency Order Fixing Water Prices in Port Sudan

*The Governor of the Red Sea State, Lieutenant General Mustafa Mohamed Nour Mahmoud, issued Emergency Order No. (26) of 2024 AD regarding the determination of water prices in the city of Port Sudan*

*The order stipulates the following regulation of water prices in Port Sudan:_*

*1/ The price of a pot from the desalination plant for a citizen is (200) pounds.*

*2/ The price of one ton of desalination plant for boatmen, citizens and make-up artists is (8,000'8) pounds.*

*3/The price of a ton of disguises for boatmen and citizens is (10,000) pounds.*

*4/ The price of a boatmen's jergana for citizens is (4'00) pounds.*

*Whoever contravenes the provisions of this Ordinance shall be punished with imprisonment for one month or with a fine not exceeding five hundred thousand pounds (500,000) or with both.*

*The emergency order will apply within the city limits of Port Sudan until this order is amended or rescinded*
