We value our strategic relationship with China, which has lasted for more than 65 years, and during these years, the two countries have exchanged political support, and Sudan has always affirmed its firm position on China's core issues, the one-China principle and China's territorial integrity. and Sudan's rejection of all attempts that affect China's security, stability and unity. Relations between the two countries are also characterized by close economic cooperation, and China is considered our largest trading partner and the largest contributor to infrastructure development in Sudan.

The Belt and Road Initiative, launched by His Excellency President Xi Jinping in October 2013, is one of the most important initiatives in the history of China and mankind. It represents a new model of international cooperation, with China as its pillar. The economy and its foundation is peaceful development. Thus, it has become a symbol of cooperation and exchange to achieve prosperity and development in the Belt and Road regions, where the two sides officially signed the agreement to participate in the construction of the Belt and Road in August 2017.

Sudan welcomes the important and creative initiatives proposed by President Xi Jinping to address the major challenges facing the world in general and Africa in particular. Sudan has supported global development initiatives and the Global Civilization Initiative. Sudan welcomes President Xi Jinping's proposal to enhance cooperation between the two countries. China and Africa towards a strategic partnership and supports as well as the ten partnerships he proposes in various fields.

There is no doubt that you have been following what my country has been facing since April 15, 2023, which is a major conspiracy that is still ongoing and attacks carried out by the Rapid Support Militia. The militia's rebellion aimed to seize power by force of arms. , and to serve the ambitions of irrational regional powers, so it waged a war against defenseless citizens and entire state institutions, targeting Sudan in its very existence and the unity of its lands, and everything that the Sudanese people are currently suffering from is the result of the rebellion of this militia and it has become a threat to local and regional security and peace. That is why I demand the need to classify it as a terrorist group and help eliminate it, condemning its actions and condemning cooperation with it, like many of them. the crimes he committed and continues to commit are classified as war crimes and crimes against humanity and what happened in West Darfur State (El Geneina) is not far from Al Azhan.

We once again stress the importance of China-Africa cooperation in the face of challenges, political fluctuations and international ambitions. From this perspective, we call on our African brothers to play a positive and supportive role in helping Sudan achieve peace and stability. freezing its membership in the African Union, given its importance to regional security and peace and its need for reconstruction and reconstruction, and in this regard, we extend our thanks to brotherly and friendly African countries. outside the continent that has supported Sudan in this critical period, we aspire to and look forward to China's central role in complementing the government's efforts to rehabilitate, reconstruct and rebuild what has been destroyed by the war in Sudan. including the Belt and Road Initiative, contribute to economic and social recovery and the establishment of peace, stability and prosperity.
