In the presence of Professor Amira Ahmed Hassan, Minister of Finance and Manpower in charge of the Nile State, Dr. Farouk Faisal, Executive Director of the National Health Insurance Fund, Professor Abu Bakr, Director of the Local Development Fund, and several of the directors of specialized departments from both sides, the Local Development Fund hall in Al-Damer witnessed this afternoon the signing ceremony of a contract for the sponsorship of 40,000 families by the Local Development Fund and sponsored by the National Health Insurance Fund of the Nile River and with the generous patronage of its Minister of Finance.
Dr. Farouk Faisal, Executive Director of the State Fund, stressed that the Local Development Fund is one of the largest and most important development funds in the state, as it is considered a unique and pioneering experience in the field of social responsibility, in addition to its primary mission of implementing projects, including the establishment of health centers in the state.
Dr. Farouk said that the signing ceremony that took place today with the sponsorship of 40,000 families is a continuation of the previous work of years ago, and today is the renewal of the subscription and payment of the sponsorship of these insured families.
Thanking the efforts of the Minister of State Finance to carry out this work, he stressed that this is a fruitful product of the results of the previous meeting between him and the Health Insurance Fund, which made it possible to stagger previous debts in a manner satisfactory to all parties, which contributes to providing health services. He added that his administration has managed to restore many of its services up to 60% through hospitals and health centers, and efforts will continue to reach the target number.
For his part, Mr. Abu Bakr Muhammad Al-Amin, Director of the State Local Development Fund, announced that the smart partnership that took place today between him and the Health Insurance Fund will sponsor 40,000 families at a rate of one billion and five hundred thousand pounds at the general level, with a figure of 2,300 pounds for the beneficiary, indicating that this is primarily a social work.
Abu Bakr praised the efforts made by the Governor of Nile State, Dr. Mohamed Al-Badawi Abdel-Majed, the Minister of Finance and members of the State Government Council to agree to release the projects of the Local Development Fund, stressing that what happened today marks the beginning of the Fund's work.
Promise to increase the number of sponsored families to 70,000 expatriate families at the local state level, in addition to continuing the Fund's core project programs.
