Northern Governor Chairs Police Services Meeting
Within the framework of the Minister of Interior's Ministerial Resolution No. 149 establishing a coordination council for the four partially disbanded police units, the Governor of Northern State, Mr. Abdeen Awadallah, Chairman of the Security Committee, chaired a meeting to discuss and activate these units.
Form the council to integrate these forces into the unified police force
This was in the presence of the Director of the Northern State Police, the Rapporteur of the State Security Committee, the Chairman of the Coordination Council of the Ministry of Interior in the State, His Excellency Major General Haqoqi Muhammad Ahmed Al-Amin, and the directors of police services.
The preliminary meeting discussed
The formation of the coordination council of the four police units: customs, wildlife, civil protection, prisons and correctional services, and the refugee delegation was also added.
At the level of the Northern States
His Excellency the Major General expressed his satisfaction with the decisions of the Security Committee
Promote and develop these sensitive departments, particularly the intimacy of the Northern State, through the passages
He stressed that the large number of arrivals in the state exceeded several times the number of citizens in the state, stressing that despite the state's exposure to emergency circumstances, these decisions, with the cooperation of these forces, will provide a service that will advance the state.
Noting the projects that will be developed as part of the work aimed at providing all services to citizens of the state
Explaining that the Council represents additional value at the federal and state levels to improve performance in the units.
