In his speech at the training workshop on the role of official media in the current situation, the Nile Governor stressed the importance of the media in strengthening security and stability.

Nile Governor Dr. Muhammad Al-Badawi Abdel-Majed Abu Qarun stressed the important and influential role of the media in strengthening security and stability, calling for unifying the efforts of the media to serve the nation.

This came during his speech this morning at the Atbara Health Insurance Hall, opening the training workshop on “The Role of Official Media in the Current Situation,” organized by the Higher Academy for Strategic and Security Studies in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, Information and Communications in River Nile State.

The governor stressed the importance of clarity in the media message, emphasizing that it must be based on national foundations that contribute to raising the sense of security among citizens.

His Excellency praised the efforts made by the Ministry of Culture and Information and the Higher Academy in organizing such training workshops, stressing their importance in developing media executives.

For his part, the Minister of Culture, Information and Communications of the Nile State, Mr. Mustafa Mohamed Othman Al-Sharif, stressed the importance of formulating new concepts at this delicate stage that contribute to consolidating the unity of the country and supporting the armed forces. He called on the media to exercise its national responsibility and work to reverse the gains that the state is witnessing, and the minister stressed that the media must be at the forefront of these efforts and contribute to strengthening the national spirit.

In turn, General Qasm al-Sayyid Abbas, Undersecretary of the Higher Academy for Strategic and Security Studies, stressed the central role of the media in combating the media war waged by the rebel militias with the support of regional parties, stressing the importance of the national role of the media in supporting state institutions and reassuring the souls of citizens.

The training workshop covered a number of important topics, including the role of official media in the current situation, media content and cybersecurity. The workshop was aimed at media directors from localities and ministries, as well as radio, television and community radio directors from across the country. state.

In the same context, the researchers stressed the importance of developing media content to keep pace with technological developments, noting that they benefited from the experiences provided to them in the field of creating attractive and influential media content. They also stressed the importance of cybersecurity in protecting information and data from electronic attacks, expressing their thanks to the workshop leaders for this great effort.

The opening session of the workshop was well attended by a number of Ministers of the State Government, the Security Committee, executive and media leaders, as well as the media.
