The Executive Director of the locality of Dalqo launches the distribution of school supplies to students in the Koya area

This evening, in the Koya region, the executive director of the Dalqo locality, Mr. Mudassir Sharaf al-Din, was sworn in, in the presence of the director of the Baraka unit, Mr. Muhammad Ahmad, the president of the Mahs Sheikhat Union, Brigadier General Mukhtar Faqiri and the educational officials of the Baraka unit and the locality inaugurated the distribution of school supplies, consisting of notebooks, books and school bags, in addition to school uniforms for the intermediate level for the pupils and students of the Koya school. Koya is considered one of the areas affected by the torrents and rains that fell in the previous days.

For his part, the executive director of the locality of Dalqo said that these aids are considered as compensation for part of the damages caused to the students' families following the floods and rains.

He stressed that a model village will be established in the near future for all affected people, and they will visit the site chosen by the specialists, begin planning and engineering work, and start construction for the affected people, in cooperation with the local Sudanese Qatari Red Crescent Society.

At the end of his speech, he expressed his thanks to the citizens of the region for their patience and that he was ready to extend a helping hand to them until Koya returned to his old life.

For his part, the director of primary education in the locality, Mr. Ibrahim Farah, said that the school materials consist of forty-eight dozen booklets provided by the executive director of the locality of Dalqo, Mr. Mudassir Sharaf al-Din, in addition to ninety-four school bags, with the Al-Baraka unit waiving its share, and fifteen school uniforms, in addition to school books provided by the education department of the Al-Baraka unit and other school supplies.

At the end of his speech, he expressed his thanks to the Executive Director of the Dalgo Locality for his interest in education and citizenship issues in the locality.
