Al-Dabba locality organizes a meeting to evaluate the efforts to fight cholera and strengthen health measures with the participation of official and popular organizations.
A meeting was held yesterday Thursday at the headquarters of Al-Dabba locality in the office of the executive director of the locality, Mr. Mohamed Saber Kashkesh, with the aim of assessing the progress of the work of the health campaign previously launched with the aim of combating disease vectors, especially after the outbreak of cholera, said that the environmental campaign aims to contain the disease in the locality, with the support of the local Chamber of Commerce and the participation of the Ministry of State. Health, local health affairs, the administrative unit, the Red Crescent and volunteers from the population of the area.
*For his part, the representative of the Minister of Health of the Northern State, Mr. Ibrahim Al-Naim, explained that they came to participate in the launch of the campaign and praised the wide participation of all official and popular activities and organizations. He added that the aim of the campaign is to combat disease vectors and sterilize water, especially since the locality recorded four cases of cholera. Today, the work of the first day is being sterilized to face the remaining days. He praised the method of disposing of waste, the market and the hospital, and reported some diarrhea that turned out to be normal diarrhea*.
*For his part, the representative of the state medical equipment, Mr. Kamel Abdel-Rahim, took the floor, stressing that they noted that the work in the locality of Al-Dabbah is progressing well and that the medical equipment for the disease is available with all the aids and that the medicines are available in the warehouses and free for cholera patients.
