Our National Organizations and Registrations – Race in Politics – ✍️ Al-Tarifi Abu Naba

Years ago, when catastrophic floods occurred in Al-Jili, and before that, in Al-Faw and a number of regions in Sudan… efforts were mobilized and trends and hashtags appeared in the media to support those affected by natural disasters. At that time, one of the Egyptian brothers who follows the messages of the Sudanese youth wrote to me to inquire about the situation of those affected by the floods… He allowed me to send him in particular the conditions of those affected, expressing his solidarity. and promising to send appreciated support to those affected… I am a journalist and I am not allowed to receive money and I am not a member of any voluntary organization. This is what I told him before thanking him for his good humor and. He reminded him that this would only be done through official channels represented by the State and national organizations affiliated with the Humanitarian Aid Commission or others affiliated with the Ministry of Youth and Sports, and between reflections and doubts on this subject, this supporter disappeared after several days, and I did not dare to speak to him again… I was disappointed to have prevented a support that could have contributed to saving families and being alongside those affected by the torrential rains…

Today, after the disasters of war, epidemics and floods, humanitarian organizations have flocked to our national organizations to support the affected people, and new organizations have emerged and others are waiting to register and complete their procedures to support, stand with the citizens and support the government in its responsibilities, what we expect from the support … but these organizations are facing a problem with the registration certificate fees that are required from the Humanitarian Aid Commission, according to a friendly conversation with the head of one of the organizations. , I was surprised at the wisdom of increasing the fees to five hundred thousand pounds, knowing that these organizations are voluntary and non-profit. Should the Commission have set other conditions to govern the organizations and ensure the continuation of their humanitarian work. efforts, except for a certificate of expenses that will not be found, because it is the right of the beneficiary of the service of persons suffering humanitarian suffering… I believe that the Commission, which has been attached to the Sovereignty Council, should set rules and regulations for its work in such a way as to guarantee the continuation of humanitarian work, and not by creating obstacles that stop movements… In addition, the increase in fees leads the Commission to bypass certain organizations and open up outlets for traders and operators to practice profitable activities. doing business in the name of humanity
