Cooperation between the Regulation of the Conservator of Agricultural and Animal Production Professions and the FAO

The Registrar General of Agricultural and Livestock Professions Organizations, Maulana Abu Bakr Othman, met with the UN FAO Director in Sudan, Hunteh Yan, in the presence of the head of the organization of Al-Rahad Al-Zai project in the city of Port Sudan.

Maulana Abu Bakr provided insights into the Agricultural and Livestock Professions Law and the extent to which agricultural entities benefit from the law, which has led to an increase in productivity.

The meeting also discussed how to provide improved seeds and seeds for the upcoming winter season and train farmers through workshops organized by the organization.

For his part, Honteh praised the efforts made by the Conservatory of Agriculture and Livestock Trades in the development of agricultural and livestock work. He also said he was ready to provide support and provide improved seeds and seeds to producers.

It is worth noting that the FAO project is considered one of the largest and most important national projects, involving more than 33,000 farmers and ten inspections.
