Transitional Sovereignty Council President Arrives in Juba

The Chairman of the Transitional Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, arrived today in the city of Juba, Republic of South Sudan, on an official visit. He was received at Juba International Airport by President Salva Kiir Mayardit and members of the Sudanese mission to the Republic of South Sudan, and an official reception ceremony was held for the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council.
The President of the Council will hold discussions with President Salva Kiir on ways to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries and advance them in a manner that meets the aspirations of the two brotherly peoples.
In addition to issues of common interest.
The President of the Council is accompanied during the visit by the Minister-designate of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Hussein Awad, and the Minister of Energy and Petroleum, Mohieddin Naeem Muhammad.
