Chairman of Sudanese-Russian Business Council arrives in the country at the head of a delegation of Russian businessmen

A delegation of Russian businessmen headed by the Chairman of the Sudanese-Russian Business Council Viktor Shamdanov has arrived in the country. The delegation was received by the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Russia to Sudan.

Businessman Al-Sadiq Qasim Al-Sayed said that the arrival of the Russian delegation aims to contribute to the development of relations between the two countries, stressing that Sudan has the opportunity to benefit from Russian technology in various fields to boost the economy.

For his part, he explained

The Chairman of the Sudanese-Russian Business Council said that the visit comes in line with the efforts of the Sudanese-Russian Ministerial Committee and contributes to advancing relations between the two countries in various commercial, industrial and investment fields towards broader horizons, noting that the delegation came to Sudan with a set of programs that will be discussed and the means of implementing them will be discussed with the Sudanese side.

He added that the delegation would meet with the ministers of minerals, energy, investment, agriculture and industry, representatives of chambers of commerce and businessmen, expressing his hope that the visit would produce positive results that would serve the interests of both countries.

For their part, representatives of businessmen and the Chamber of Commerce welcomed the visit of the Russian delegation, expressing their hope that it will contribute to pushing trade relations between Sudan and Russia to levels that benefit both countries, stressing their work to advance the efforts of the leaders of the two countries to create a fertile environment for Russian investments in Sudan and contribute to the development of relations between the two countries in the field of industry, trade and infrastructure.
