The Supreme Council of Tourism celebrates World Tourism Day this month
The Supreme Council of Tourism and Antiquities has announced the launch of World Tourism Day activities during the current month of September.
Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Tourism in the Northern State, Al-Sadiq Awad Abdel-Rasoul, confirmed his willingness to celebrate World Tourism Day this month.
Awad said in a statement that the celebration would continue for three days.
Awad revealed some events, including the laying of the foundation stone of the new headquarters of the ministry on the 29th of this month.
He highlighted the opening of several chalets, honoring a number of personalities who have enriched the tourism sector, providing breakfast to the wounded during operations at the Dongola military hospital and helping those affected by rain, torrents and floods.
