Applications are open for Algerian scholarships for Sudanese students
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced the opening of applications for Algerian scholarships for Sudanese students for the academic year 2024/2025 AD, for 20 bachelor's scholarships in various specializations. Note that the Algerian government will cover tuition fees, accommodation, subsistence, transportation (to and from student accommodation at the university) and treatment, while nominated students will cover airfare.
Note that applying to the scientific course for applied specializations is preferred by those who have knowledge of the French language, otherwise the student will study a full academic year in the French language. The application is also available for students who have obtained a percentage of 85% or. above in the Sudanese secondary certificate for the year 2022 AD and subsequent years (for non-Sudanese certificates).

The ministry notes that the approval of applications for Algerian scholarships will be done through a specialized committee within the ministry. The committee will screen applications to select the highest percentage of competitors based on the criteria specified for the grant.
