Major General Salah praised the great efforts and achievements made by members of the Central and State Customs Forces through significant seizures, stressing that the Customs Forces are waging a major battle for economic dignity against smugglers and economic saboteurs. Excellence in making greater efforts to protect the national economy, increase the sense of security, strengthen control and maintain performance.
Brigadier General Khaled Othman Al-Faki, director of the airport, stressed that the force at the airport will remain a watchful eye and a steady hand to thwart all smuggling attempts that destroy the national economy.
At the end of his visit, His Excellency inspected the halls, entrances and exits of the airport to ensure the strict customs control process through detection devices and a network of surveillance cameras.
